SOUK-SCAN

Know the recent local price before you buy.

SOUK-SCAN is a community price-transparency app for Morocco. People report what they actually paid for everyday food items — vegetables and fruits — in their region, and the app turns those reports into a simple estimate: a typical price range for each product, by region.

Why

Food prices vary a lot by region, season, and market — and there's no easy way to know what's a fair price before you're already at the stall. SOUK-SCAN exists to close that gap using real, recent reports from people nearby, not official or fixed pricing.

How it works

Anyone can sign in and report today's price for a product in their region, once per product per day. The app combines everyone's reports into an aggregate estimate — individual reports, identities, and exact locations are never shown publicly. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
